Two ambiguously shaped reliefs constitute an essential experiment in the representation of a cube in which the deception of the perception of its full and empty space occurs. But what is perceived is its overturning: the empty form appears as full and, conversely, the full object appears empty. What is true in what we perceive of objective reality? Is what we see really true or is it the simple result of our perception?
