In the city, the eye seeks for a distant horizon, the furthest limit it can reach. It rises above buildings and constructions. But the town seems to be everywhere, with its events, its flashings, its mists and vapours in the corners, its continuous buzzing, and sometimes with its overwhelming silence, which seems to leave a gap that cannot be filled. A sense of precariousness portrayed in the inquisitive look of the passers-by. A few questions arise: “How can we protect ourselves within a city? What are its boundaries and its limits? Where does it start and where does it end? What are its inside and outside? Who is not a stranger inside it?”
